    This in-depth module examines the main principles of health, safety and welfare within the workplace, the key factors associated with safe working practices, and the prevention of health and safety incidents in the workplaces. The module examines the importance of knowing about hazardous substances and the importance of sharing information in relation safe working practices when working with substances that may cause harm. The current regulations and legislation related to health and safety in the workplace is also covered, including the Health and Safety Act 1974, COSHH and RIDDOR. This module is CPD accredited and aligned to CTSF “Health, Safety and Welfare”.
