About this course

Welcome to Safeguarding Adults L1&2 with preventing radicalisation.

This course provides adult social care workers across the UK with standard principles and best practice guidelines in relation to safeguarding adults. There are some differences in legislation around safeguarding in the four countries of the UK, e.g. adult safeguarding being known as adult support and protection in Scotland. This course does provide information about the key differences across the UK, however the main focus is on the principles and guidelines of keeping adults safe.

This course is CPD-accredited.

This course meets level 1 and level 2 requirements as outlined in the CSTF as set by Skills for Health. This course also meets the CSTF requirements for basic PREVENT awareness training to prevent radicalisation.

It is important to note that *local policies and guidance should always be followed and all staff have a duty to be aware of, and comply with, their organisation's requirements*.
